Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day this weekend! It was so fun (and a little crazy) spending this Mother's Day not only as a daughter, but also as a mommy-to-be. We we're able to see both grandmas- in-training this weekend, going hiking with the Cooper clan on Saturday, and dining al fresco with the Sliger bunch in Bellingham on Sunday.

I also recieved my first official Mother's Day gift from Brad's Aunt Connie, a Prego Planner (otherwise known as a Pregnancy Journal). This little gem is not only super cute, but it is the perfect place to store all the memories, photos, and plans that will occur throughout these nine months. Even though I'm sure the morning sickness, crazy cravings, baby bump, oh so many emotions, and shopping for everything baby will be stored in my memory for quite a while to come, but having a place to memorialize these days and a memento to reflect back on will be something I will always treasure. I figure by the time pregnancy two comes around all these new experiences will be 'old news' and that my attention will be focused on a growing Baby S #1, so I why not capture every memory I can now? You never know, one day all these notes could be research for my second novel . . . with the first book being all about weddings, of course!

Have a newly pregnant friend? Why not give them a Prego Planner as a congratulations gift! Available at Village Maternity (U Village) and online at: www.braelynbountybug.com/main.php
