Retail Therapy

I went to doctor this week and learned that this baby is almost done cookin' & can come anytime!! Great news, but now I've become a professional "time filler", since telling a VERY pregnant woman that her baby can come anytime is like a telling a child that Santa might appear rooftop any minute now. So why not catch up on my poor, neglected blog & submit myself to a little retail therapy!? Enjoy!

The last thing for me to buy on my pre-baby list is the ever-important diaper bag. Easy right? Not so much! Once I started browsing, I discovered that buying a diaper bag today is just as big a decision (not to mention as big as an investment) as buying a couture handbag! A week ago I thought the moderately priced, cute, functional bags by Skiphop were the end-all in diaper bags . . . oh, how naive I was!! There is a whole world of designer diaper bags out there that look like actual handbags . . . there is a god! Now the question is: do I indulge my inner fashionista and get the bag that would look killer with a pair of heels and a classic trench or do I touch down in the land of reality and get the bag that would look & function best with my "going to the park" ensemble and needs? Serious turmoil I know! World hunger, never ending wars, cut backs on education funding, Boeing possibly leaving our great state, AND the great diaper bag debate . . . I know you all understand completely :)!

Even if you're not in the market for a diaper bag, enjoy these tasty treats that I found while doing my "research" earlier today. They might even be chic enough to make you non-mommys want to become pregnant!

  1. Super cute post Keri! It's so funny, I was with two non-mommy clients this week and they both had fab purses that were diaper bags! They loved how many compartments they had and how their water bottles fit in the outside pockets. They were both laughing about throwing away the changing pads. :) So which did you decide on? You better hurry up!
