Two Down & Counting

Finally, finally, finally . . . all our pre-babes projects are going from ideas, to halfway there, to (ta dah!) complete. Here are some pics from our first two completed projects!!

First up, the oh-so-important glider, a must (so I hear) for any new mom! Exercising the recessionista in me, I found a glider that was full of potential, on craigslist for only 20 smackeroos! A little paint, some new cushions, and a darling pillow from Dwell Baby & we've got ourselves the cutest little glider on the block! I can't wait to show you how this ties into the completed nursery design!

Our next project was a little more daunting, but even more important for mom & dad. Since Brad & I are (happily) giving up our current office to the baby . . . after all he deserves a space of his own . . . we needed a little place of our own to do all those important grown up things like pay bills, read blogs, online shop, you know . . . important things! So we gave our only space available, the laundry room (aka: laundry nook!) a make over. We still need to cute it up a bit, but the overall idea is complete, and as a surprise to both Brad & I, we LOVE the space! Sometimes less really is more!

The absolute best part about the space is that when it's not in use we can just shut the doors and all the chaos is magically hidden. A MUST when your home is 1,000 square feet huge :)!

Stay tuned, with baby Sliger's birthday only 10 short weeks away, we'll (hopefully) be finishing projects like crazy!
