Project Nursery, Done!

I know I've kept some of you waiting but after climbing out from under my 'feeling like death + wedding week' rock, I have the nursery pics ready for viewing!! I wish we had planned ahead enough to take a 'before' picture, but in our excitement we began the office demo with all the determination of brides at a Vera Wang sample sale, without ever thinking about a camera. So in lue of a BEFORE picture just close your eyes and image a fully loaded office of two very busy people: bursting with books & very chaotic!

Our inspiration: the vintage modern looks I ofter lust after on Ohdeedoh + the Aqua Gio bedding I purchased at Dwell Studios months ago! With the Dwell bedding being my "splurge" item, I wanted to ensure that I purchased as many "save" items as possible, and with some savvy shopping and the talents of our families, I think we pulled if off! Maybe I'm a little bias, being the mommy/designer, but I absolutely love our final result!

And now for the AFTER:

Bedding: dwell baby, crib: Graco, pug pillow: etsy, wall decal: wall candy arts, animal art: keri & brad, curtains: handmade by grandma sliger.

Changing table: inspired by pottery barn, hand-crafted by grandpa cooper (mommies-to-be, he's available for custom made goodies!), display shelves: ikea, baskets: cost plus world market.

Chandelier: ikea, rocker: craigslist + cushions by grandma sliger, numbers print: etsy.

Armoire: grandpa cooper.
And finally, the muscle behind the designer, daddy-to-be, Brad!

Now all we need is our new resident to move on in!! 4 weeks to go!

  2. As Mason says- OMG! It's totes ador but why does a newborn baby have a nicer room than a 30 year old adult (that's right Keri, I'll be joining you in the 30-45 box in t minus 75 days)??

And Jill she'll do anything you want her to...for the right price :)

  6. You are a very artistic woman - this is amazing. You should hire yourself out now that you have all this free time with the weddings being finished...
