From One Mommy to Another

You know your a mom when you get excited to blog about snot. Yep, I said it, this post is all about snot . . . (and proud of it!). When your baby is literally full of snot and starts to sounding like a pug-Dark Vader hybrid all you want to do is make it better. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do as a parent to help get your baby on the path to breath/health. Sad, but true. In our house we've tried the humidifier, we've tired the baby snot ball sucker (which doesn't work), and now (at last!) we've tried the Nosefrida!

Recommended to me by a baby-mama pal, all I could think was, "you actually suck the snot out of your baby's nose? With your mouth? Gross." but it's clean, it's painless (for the little ones), and most importantly it works! According to the website and the very enthusiastic employees of Village Maternity this little gem has been used by mommies in Europe for ages, and like most things, we're just now catching on. Ahhh, us slow Americans!

So enough said about snot, but if you have a sick little one or are attending a baby shower in the near future, I recommend putting this on your shopping list. It truly is a product that every parent should own and you can get yours at Village Maternity, Whole Foods, or Target (online). Do it, your little ones will thank you.

Happy & healthy days to all!
