New Friends

One of the great things about being a new mom is all the new friends you make. Between mommy groups, Gymboree, the park, coffee shops, Mon Petit in Ballard (yep, true story), it seems like having a baby strapped to you is the universal sign for "willing to make friends". I've met some extraordinary woman since Jackson's arrival . . . and some have even become friends with benefits (no, not that type you dirty bridies)!

My beautiful friend Julie (aka: mother of Johnny) happens to also be the owner of the lovely and very well loved boutique Olivine. Olivine was a prominent storefront in Ballard for 11 years and now is featured exclusively online . . . welcome to mommyhoood. The online version of Olivine features many to-die-for items including Prairie Underground, Michael Stars, and (wait for it) Nest diaper bags.

 Nest, a Seattle based momma managed company, designs some of the most beautiful and handbag like diaper bags I have yet to seen. Heidi Klum thinks so too, she carries the Elliot bag, and now (all thanks to Julie & her fabulous boutique) so do I!
