Mondays are hard. Period. So why not fill them with beautiful things that make you happy?! If you've crossed my path lately you know that the idea of my own country home, complete with goats and a HUGE garden, is something that makes me very happy. I'm not talkin' your grandma's country though, my happy place is something that design magazines are referring to modern country and while I can't quite pin down if it's more of the rustic NW style cabin, a kitchy cottage, or clean-lined, over sized farmhouse that really makes me sigh with delight, I have a feeling our country home will one day be a ménage à trois of the three. Here are a few pictures of places that definitely make me happy . . . I hope they bring a smile to your face as well.
