Happy Birthday Bubba!

Well the baby is officially a baby no longer, yesterday was Jackson's first birthday and it was an amazing, almost rain free day, that we'll remember for a looong time! The birthday boy was smiles all day, ending with a manic (sugar-fueled) wrapping paper wrestling session, clad only in a diaper. Priceless . . .

For the past month I have been slowly turning our home into a farm (aka: Sliger Baby Barn) in preparation for Jackson's birthday party; and it's taken a huge amount of self restraint to not share the growing list of details with you but in the spirit of the birthday boy, I thought he should have first look. Now the time has come . . . just let me awake from my party coma and gather pictures first. Hopefully later today, but for now here's a sneak peak of the goodness to come!
