The beast has been tamed, and by beast I mean the mass of luscious locks that tops my baby's head. Where did this hair farmer gene come from? We have no idea, as neither the hubby or I are blessed with hair gene (hello, mama's been rockin' the bob for years), but we're loving every minute of Jackson's blessed scalp and were
very hesitant to take him to get his first haircut. Seeing that our little guy is only sixteen months old and was quickly in danger of losing both his sense of hearing and sight, due to his growing-like-a-weed locks, we knew the time had come for his first haircut.
While the day was momentous, and tantrum-free, and J looks as handsome as ever, I'm still mourning those incredible curls a little bit. Thankfully, our hair farmer is fully committed to his new crop of locks.
Big thanks to Megan at the
Kids Club at U Village. Stylist to babes, pal to parents. You rock!
The before.
The during.
The after ( . . . very concerned about seeing his curls on the floor).
Jackson looks good rockin the fauxhawk!
