Big, BIG Day

After a week of unsuccessful attempts, tonight was the night . . . Jackson's first official "solid" meal, taken down like a champ!! I was baffled that our stout little man wasn't liking food, I mean when it comes to milk the boy can eat but trying to get the kiddo to eat was like trying to rip a sample sale wedding dress out of a crazed bride's hands . . . NOT gonna happen! It was pursed lips and frustrated grunts for days. However our perseverance paid off though, because tonight we were rewarded with huge smiles and a wide open mouth that was eager for every bite!!! Whew, because it's way too soon for food complexes!

Next stop, the wonderful world of sweet potatoes!
